Rickshaw

Rickshaw

Rickshaw

You drive through the crowded streets of Bombay.
The air is filled with the smell of curry and car fumes.

Your driver is seated in the front. He shouts at a truck which suddenly crosses your path. In India you drive on the left-hand side of the road, but people seem to drive wherever they like.
Other trucks pass, using their horns as a warning.
Occasionally, elephants share the road with cars and buses and your own rickshaw. You have to watch out for cows, dogs, people and garbage in the middle of the roads.

Still the rickshaw is the perfect way to get around.
The rickshaw is a three-wheeled vehicle and can carry a maximum of 3 passengers. It has no doors which makes it very comfortable in the heat; and much more exciting!

When the ride is over, you pay the driver his 9 rupees.
You are ready to discover the rest of the city.
Do you know what to see in India?
