Suggestion: Practise taking notes while listening carefully in order to deliver an oral summary either in class or to another student. Radio: Resources and ideas for use
BBC world news listening exercise

Suggestion: Use the BBC Daily world news radio program as a source for listening and comprehending exercises. One way to do so is to listen carefully to the whole - and to list all headlines while listening. You can also work in pairs with smaller sections, so that each student picks a headline, and listens carefully to this in order to prepare questions to the content and details of that specific part for his or her class mate. Having done so, students can listen once again to prepare and present answers to these questions, either in pairs or in class.
