Forløbet er lavet af Fran Hopenwasser og Louise Ravn på Frederiksborg Gymnasium, og Fran Hopenwasser skriver bl.a.
- Jeg vedhæfter en lille tekstsamling, som vi har givet eleverne, og som de ser ud til at bruge flittigt, men de har været gode til at finde andre ting på nettet. Alle links er i vejledningen.
- Klassen er midt i AT7 lige nu, og jeg synes allerede, man kan sige, at det er et meget godt emne til AT, fordi det er ikke så svært for dem at lave en problemformulering, hvor de 2 fag bidrager på en naturlig måde.

Engelsk litteratur:
1. Hoop Dreams (instr. Steve James, 1994) – a highly acclaimed documentary about 2 African-American boys growing up with the dream of becoming professional basketball players.
2. He Got Game (instr. Spike Lee, 1998) - A feature film about a high school basketball star and his father; connects the game with Public Enemy rap texts. Lots of references to black culture.
3. Crossover: a worldwide basketball odyssey (2007) –documentary showing the connection between basketball and hip hop; shows how the game (and the culture) has spread to many parts of the world.
4. Love and Basketball (instr. Gina Prince, 2000)- one of the few basketball films to bring in the issue of gender (køn).
5. Glory Road (instr.James Gartner, 2006) – a feature film based on a true story; deals with integration and racial discrimination in the US in the 60’s.

- Da film er hovedteksten i den engelske del, har jeg givet eleverne en guide til filmanalyse, som jeg fandt på internettet, men jeg har understreget, at de ikke behøver at lave en filmteknisk analyse. Vi kører efter den nye bekendtgørelse.
